Seen your work on someone else’s post but never got the glory or fame for it or at least a backlink? There is a way to manually add a backlink to text via your HTML code in your control panel which can be found in Blogstorm, But if your like me then maybe I think Joost de Valk’s may have solved the issue for all the people who have their blog scraped.

With the request from Shoemoney who wanted some way to make the scrapers work for him, So he asked Joost de Valk who created a wordpress plugin called RSS footer that will insert a default text link back to your site. So if they scrap you they scrap the link too which in turn will give you an additional backlink to your blog.

Here you can see my Default text followed by the title of the post

Matt Cutts discussed in a recent interview the best form of link would be a link back to the actual post so they have added this option, with the title of the post as anchor text.

@Joost de Valk - Do indeed enjoy the plugin and so far I see my Technorati blog reactions jump by a fair bit. Not 100% sure related as not studied yet but started at same time I added the plugin…Thumbs up…

I find that related posts for feeds works about the same and adds more links back to your site.
